Katie Brown’s Individual Apple Crisp

Ingredients

1 container of phyllo sheets
4 tbl butter

Filling ingredients:

4 peeled and diced apples
2 tbl lemon juice
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tbl flour
2 tbl milk
2 tsp vanilla
½ cup brown sugar
¼ tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon

Topping:

½ cup oats
½ cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
7 tbl butter sliced and diced
¼ tsp baking soda

Directions

1.In one bowl Combine all the filling ingredients. In another bowl combine all the topping ingredients which into a crumb like texture

2. Layer 3 sheets of phyllo brush butter in-between each layer and cut into 4x4 squares

3. Spray a muffin tin with non stick spray and place one phyllo square in the center, then put in a spoonful of filling and place a layer of crumb topping on top

4. Bake in a pre heated oven at 350 for 35 minutes, allow them to cool and then top with ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce
