Markie’s BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

Whole Chicken cut, cleaned and trimmed

1 Cup of “Markie’s seasoning”

Cumin

Chili powder

Fresh garlic

Tumeric

Basil

Smoked Paprika

Lemon Pepper

Directions

Season and marinate chicken 4-24 hours Use a smoker or set up smoker inside your grill and get the temp up to 225 degrees.

Add chicken.

Cook for 4 hours until there is an internal temp of 165 degrees.

I like my skin crisp so I finish the chicken over direct heat for about 8 minutes on each side.

Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes and serve it.
