TUC’s Prince Harry’s Toad In the Hole


2 Tbsp olive oil
4 English Bangers (Pork sausage)
¾ cup white Flour
½ tsp salt
2 eggs
1¼ cups milk
1 tsp rosemary leaves chopped


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

2. Pour oil into casserole or skillet – place in oven for 5 minutes

3. Add sausage to hot oil carefully with tongs and bake for 10 minutes – meanwhile

4. sift flour and salt into a bowl – make a well in center –

5. whisk eggs, milk and rosemary together

6. Add egg mixture to flour – mix until smooth

7. Remove casserole from oven and pour batter over the sausages carefully and bake for 30 or 35 minutes or until puffed up and golden brown.

8. Serve in casserole
